Nuno Palha is a fine art painter based in Lisbon.

In 1998, Nuno left Portugal in search of a more authentic life. His travels took him to dozens of countries, where he lived in communities in Ireland, engaged in social service in Venezuela, studied at an ashram in California, and embraced deep monastic life in Sweden. During this time he also started painting and learning with the Monk Dada Rameshananda.

After returning to Portugal in 2004, Nuno began formally studying Painting and Photography in SNBA and Cenjor.  He also started exhibiting his work in 2005, in several galleries in the Lisbon area.

In 2008, following the birth of his son, Nuno decided to pause painting to fully dedicate himself to photography. In 2009, he founded his own studio and worked full-time as a photographer across more than three continents.

In 2024, Nuno returned to painting, integrating his profound connection between art and spirituality. His works now reflect a refined technique infused with deep spiritual sensitivity, creating pieces that invite reflection and contemplation. Nuno is committed to continuously pushing the boundaries of his artistic practice.
